At the beginning one of us had the desire to monitor the bee hives. Thanks to an amazing team we managed to create scales and we feel that it would be a shame not to share them with others.
It is not only about weight.
By using a small device you will be able to monitor not only weight but also humidity inside the beehive as well as temperature and air pressure.
Lora WAN
We use IoT technology which transmits measured data over the LoRa WAN network. You can view all your data by logging in to our site.
Battery or solar panel?

How do I know if I have TTN coverage?
Find out if you have coverage here ( The Things Network map ). You need to have a receiver / gateway / blue dot on the map within 15 km of the hives.
I do not have TTN coverage, but I like the weight. Is there a solution?
Yes, there are two solutions:
- The 15km value next to the question next to it may not be the final value. In flat terrain, the signal can travel greater distances in the tens of kilometers. The longest successful transmission of information took place at a distance of 832 km with a power of only 25mW!
- You can get your own Gateway (recommended). We have the recommended equipment listed on our page here.
Is it difficult to register the control panel in the system?
